Once upon a time...
there was a girl born in Sweden..
but, when she had just started school, her parents took her to a beautiful country called Tanzania..
far..far away...
They went in a small charter plane..that soon had an engine on fire..
so they had to go down in Sudan for repairs..
The small girl was shocked at the blazing heat... of +40C and more...
and thought she had come to the end of the world...

little did she know.............
That this was..only the beginning of a whole lifetime...of events that would change..with emphasize on the word CHANGE!
- her young life forever...the way she thought..felt..
and the safe small world, as she knew it..Sweden...
After a few nights and sightseeing in the unbearable heat of Khartoum, it was time to take that last scary flight to Nairobi airport, and then by car to Tanzania...
She would never forget the special heavy damp floral scents when stepping off that plane at Nairobi airport..
in April..after the heavy tropical rain..

It felt a bit like heaven...after all the dry sand and heat in Sudan..where she had spent the last days...

She lived on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, first  in Tanzania
then in Kenya..
Her father was an amazing photographer, and she soon got her first small camera..

At fifteen years of age she went on another life changing journey,
walking and climbing up the beautiful  and at that time
snow and ice clad mountain, her beloved Kilimanjaro
It was a magic time, walking through from the red dust,
through rainforest, on to flowery plains, and finally through heavy snowstorm.

After many years and many cameras...
she finally decided to go professional
and is now a fulltime international photographer and artist
